Oracle Payroll Specialist – West Sussex County Council (PO19 1RG) 5 DAYS IN OFFICE

I am currently representing West Sussex County Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a Rate of which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Oracle Payroll Specialist you will be based at: PO19 1RG

We are currently working with local authorities across the West Sussex area to help recruit for a Oracle Payroll Specialist,

Required Experience & Skills:

· Must have knowledge and understanding of fast formula’s and be able to advise alternative solutions if necessary.

· Understanding of the implementation process for Oracle Payroll Absences

· Exemplary knowledge of UK Payroll Legislative requirements

· Experience in PPR activities working alongside the Delivery Partner.

· Ability to manipulate spreadsheet data and identify errors.

· Describe what is / isn't possible to the customer utilising Oracle's Payroll solution as a product (i.e what are it's limitations and solutions used elsewhere)

· Demonstrate comparable projects in their work history that they have been a part of / involved in

· Experience in DM

Key Skills:

· Communicate effectively with all areas of the business

Qualifications and/or experience:

· Work in the UK (no sponsorship provided for this position)

· Local Government experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advise and guidance on Oracle system functionality in relation to Payroll, Absence, T&L etc.

Support the SME’s on

· MCR testing

· Data Migration

· UAT testing

· PPR’s.

· Manipulating data

· Analyse reports and error corrections.

· Pensions

· Knowledge of Local Government T&C’s
