We are currently recruiting for a full time member on 40 hour contract who can work weekends. No two days are ever the same at Specsavers. As an optical assistant, you’ll serve a number of customers with differing needs throughout the day. You’ll need to be able to get stuck in and work with others in a busy team environment, as well as have the know-how to quickly provide solutions and helpful guidance on our products and services. But don’t worry – to support you in meeting a wide range of customer needs, you’ll have continuous support from your directors, managers and colleagues on the shop floor. Optical assistants are an integral part of any Specsavers store teamand crucial to our customer service journey. Individuals with a real passion for both healthcare and retail really thrive in this role, as it’s the perfect position for those who love to make a real difference to other people’s lives.
Our optical assistants are the face of Specsavers, providing expert advice to our customers on our range of fashionable frames and guiding those who are trying contact lenses for the first time.
For this role, we accept applications from individuals both with or without optical experience. As long as you have a passion for delivering high levels of customer service and building relationships within a team, we want to hear from you. To secure this role you will need at least 2 years previous customer experience within a Retail or Optical role and have a real passion for providing fantastic customer care.
We'll continue to develop and expand your knowledge of vision problems, eyecare and our products. You've already demonstrated that you're a natural when it comes to customer care, you're articulate, good with people with an organised approach and always happy to help, so you'll fit right in as a valuable member of our friendly store team, joining a business that's going places.
