Glasses are traditionally seen as an expensive investment, especially if you are looking for something cool, different, or just nice. Most mainstream opticians stock a dull range of frames, overcharge for lenses and operate from dull, uninspiring stores with little to no personality and just to add insult to injury, they make their customers wait up to THREE WEEKS for their glasses to arrive.
Popspecs is the opposite of all of these things. The headline is - Glasses in 20 minutes for £50 - but the reality is a lot more than this. Extremely cool and fashionable frames, different to anything you will see at any other opticians. Lenses and coatings included. Friendly, passionate and knowledgeable staff. Honest advice. So what's in it for you?
We are currently looking for staff for our new store in Meadowhall, opening at the end of January.
The role of Optical Assistant revolves around our customers. So as well as making sales, helping with queries, and guiding customers on the best glasses for them, you will also be involved in actually making your customers glasses!
Retail or hospitality experience is preferred but the main thing is that you are passionate about getting things right for customers, you are reliable and are ready to help take Meadowhall by storm!
