Job description
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in livestock, who might be wanting to build up their own sheep/livestock enterprise. Someone who can help us in the peak times, but then in return we can help with additional labour and provide land for grazing, including cover crops.
We would provide a varied role and the successful candidate will be:
- Working with modern machinery & GPS
- Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
- The ability to keep accurate records and good attention to detail
- Work well in a team or individually
- Willing to approach a range of different tasks
- Positive attitude towards H&S
- Forklift certificate and pesticide training (PA1, PA2 etc) preferable but not essential
- Be willing to work long and flexible hours at peak times, including weekends
- Have a full driving license and own transport
Experience is preferable, however we are willing to train the right individual.
The individual can join us either on an employed or self employed basis. We are willing to tailor the role to the successful applicant. Salary dependable on experience.
