We are looking for an experienced, honest, reliable and professional operations support assistant in Bury, Greater Manchester.

Job Details:

Salary: £16,581.44 per year

Hours:

  • Full - Time, Permanent Contract
  • Monday - Friday 07:30 - 12:00
  • Monday - Friday 17:00 - 18:30

Must be able to work both shifts as above. Additional hours may be available.

Job Title: Operations Support

Reporting to: Operations Director and Commercial Director

PAYE - paid 15th each month

This is a permanent contract position, therefore candidates need only apply for this role if they are flexible covering the hours above. From time to time you may be required to work weekends and bank holidays, this will be communicated well in advance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The main duties of the operations support assistant is to reception security officer is to assist the client, staff, visitors and contractors on site in maintaining a safe, secure and pleasant environment.

- Creating a positive first impression of StrongGuard Security UK and our clients.

- Keyholding duties such as opening and closing premises.

- General reception duties, including excellent record keeping.

- Communicate effectively through verbal and written records.

- Maintain adequate staffing levels.

- Supporting the Operations Director and Commercial Director.

- Dealing with enquiries in a professional manner from staff, visitors and clients. .

- Supporting recruitment.

- Working with and ensuring compliance with with site specific procedures and compliance with policies and procedures.

- Undertake training and professional development, as necessary in order to be able to fulfil the role.

- Represent StrongGuard Security UK, the client etc to their values during the course of your duties.

*The above list is not exhaustive and other duties will be required and will be discussed during the interview stage.

Applicants must have / be:

  • A valid SIA (Door Supervision or Security) licence. (Training will be provided to the right candidate).
  • A valid first aid certificate.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
  • Able to communicate clearly and at all levels and with people whose first language is not English.
  • Flexible and reliable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
  • Smart and approachable.
  • A team player with a positive, solution focused approach.
  • Be able to maintain professionalism (professional boundaries).
  • Enthusiastic and must enjoy working with people.

The applicant would ideally have access to a vehicle, due to shift times.

Start - following satisfactory interview, background checks and DBS.

Applicant must be able to provide a minimum of 5 years employment / unemployment / educational history (no gaps greater than 30 days). This is required for Screening and Vetting as per the current BS 7858.
