APC Manchester have an exciting new role for a Pm Operations Support Manager.

We are looking for an experienced ,energetic, highly motivated, team player who wants to work in a small friendly environment and contribute to the overall performance and success of the depot.
You will have a proven experience in the industry and the ability to lead and support your colleagues.
Working as part of a team together to achieve the excellent customer service we offer to our customers by ensuring a smooth operation on the pm shift in a cost effective and productive manner.
Responsibilities of the Pm Operations Support Manager
- Responsible for ensuring that service is in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicator's
- Ensure all Customer expectations are achieved.
- Support the Pm shift to ensure all customer collections are allocated to drivers, driver phone calls and issues are dealt with efficiently
- Assist with the management of the warehouse operation for the shift ensuring the effective and accurate sortation of parcels
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in line with company policies in a safe and proactive manner
- Managing costs and performance of the shift
- Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service
- Assisting with phone calls from internal and external customers
- Driver debrief including vehicle checks
- Identify,communicate and highlight areas for improvement
- Provide a shift summary and handover for the morning shift
- Personal Specifications of the Pm Operations Support Manager
- Previous experience in the parcel,logistics or distribution industry would be beneficial
- Ambition to develop your leadership skills
- Flexible and able to work under pressure
- IT literate
- Knowledge of Manchester post code areas an advantage
This will be a full time position working Monday - Friday 11:00 hrs until 19:00 hrs
