Role purpose
The Global Retail Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for maintaining up to date and relevant policies and procedures to support the retail population. Liaising with regional and global stakeholders, the Retail Operations Specialist supports day to day retail operations requests and requirements with a focus on communicating with our regional and global colleagues, while managing existing BAU administrative duties and systems, supporting continuity of service and operations across retail.
Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –
Process and Policy Governance for Global Retail Operations
- Coordinates and contributes to the review, updating and redevelopment of existing retail polices, procedures and resources
- Identifies immediate and future needs, and coordinates key stakeholders to develop new policy, procedure and resources
General Retail Operations Communication and Support
- Support the day-to-day retail operations requests and requirements, with regional retail stakeholders and functional teams
- Manages and leads maintenance and evolution of Global Retail Operations Agora pages
- Leads and facilitates the translation process for Global Retail Operations resources
Product and Product Related Systems
- Acts as the SME for product and product related system management related to retail, ensuring the smooth transition of NPD from a retail systems point of view
- Ensures new and updated SKUs are available for sale and prices are available
- Coordinates significant cyclical product related initiatives, including Retail Operations input into Product Blueprint
Cegid BAU Process Management
- Acts as a SME for Cegid retail processes relating to stores and operations, and is a point person for internal retail operations colleagues and ICT, on BAU matters
- Orchestrates and ensures global retail operations teams are equipped for stocktake, cycle counts, price updates and other product and POS related activities
Global Retail Operations Leadership
- Is considered a generalist SME in retail operations and works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve best outcomes for retail in all scenarios.
- Plays a broad leadership role to represent Global Retail in all settings, with all colleagues, and priortises collaboration and alignment across global and regional teams.
This is a full time position operating with a hybrid working pattern.
What we are looking for

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
- Working knowledge of SharePoint
