Our Visitor Services team in London help hundreds of thousands of people from around the world enjoy magnificent buildings and works of art at The Queen's Gallery, The Royal Mews, and the glorious state rooms at Buckingham Palace.
Supporting the Assistant Visitor Services Managers with the day-to-day operations for our London sites, you'll ensure the delivery of an exceptional visitor experience.
Whether you're overseeing the visitor route, co-ordinating staffing levels, or monitoring performance, you'll support and motivate the team to meet the highest of standards every time.
You'll also provide vital administrative support to our team and will be a key point of contact for Wardens, answering their questions throughout the day.
No two days will be the same, and you'll liaise closely with a range of people across the organisation to ensure the continuity of day-to-day operations.
And, in everything you do, you’ll aim for the highest possible levels of visitor care and security.
Friendly, confident and an outstanding team player, you'll already have experience supervising teams in a busy, visitor-based environment, and you enjoy getting the best out of people.
With previous administrative experience and an organised approach, you're comfortable managing a varied workload, and can be relied upon to work flexibly and effectively, even when things get busy.
You're also a great communicator, confident engaging with all kinds of people.
