Job description
The Graduate Analyst will work alongside the business in understanding their data requirements and how this can be improved to better support all interested stakeholders. They will ensure consistency and integrity of data across the SCOR and SCOR Syndicate.
The Analyst will support the team in the following:
- Support Submission of Operational/Regulatory returns and advance automation.
- Analyse data and identify data quality issues against key monitoring criteria
- Support the onboarding of new Programs, through due diligence and underwriting support, particularly where new data attributes exist to either extend or create new analytical dashboards
- Support the renewal process through due diligence, underwriting support and data capture and analytics
- Gather data requirements and model them into standardised presentation views and/or dashboards (if standardised)
- Facilitate iterative and continual feedback sessions between Data Producers, Consumers and IT teams
- Support Portfolio Risk Operations with the management of MGA’s through the ongoing monitoring of audits and SCOR cards
- Support Data Producers (and IT if not system configurable) in improving prioritised Data Quality requirements
- Support Business Users identification of business change activities including training, process change and communication
- Pre-validate solutions with data solutions prior to business validation
Competency
- Statistical background including working knowledge of analysing and interpreting use of data
- Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Education
- Economics, Maths, Statistics or Engineering degree, or equivalence
