Position: Operation Resource Planner
Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Location: London Heathrow Airport
Salary: £27,000-£29,000
Shift Pattern: 6 On 3 Off. Start Times between 06:00 and 10:00
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check ) if you are to be successful for this position.
DHL work in partnership with British Airways at Heathrow Airport to provide all aircraft cleaning within their Heathrow Fleet. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the cleaning operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Liaise with all operational departments to ensure plan met demand
- Maintaining all inform databases for Planning and Rostering
- Ability to understand how effective planning affects the real-time allocation of staff and the success of the operation
- Ensure delivery windows are met and any changes communicated through the Heathrow operations team and to all colleagues impacted
- Work closely with internal departments, looking at engagement standards and resource output from these standards
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
- Proficient with Inform or similar planning and rostering tools
- Able to work with multiple different systems simultaneously
- Intermediate excel knowledge and IT literacy
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
