Job description
Location: Flexible, travel to London office required once a week

The Programme Management Team consists of several sub-teams, each of which holds different specialism(s)/expertise, but who all collectively work to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our national programmes.
The Operations Officer will primarily focus on the organisation and delivery of several high-quality events and projects, the largest of these being the Frontline programme’sReadiness for Direct Practice stage, which takes place over the summer and will consist of a 3-day residential with 500 participants, 2 national in-person teaching days, and 4 weeks of online teaching. For residential dates where specialist support and event management is required, the Operations Officer will be expected to be in attendance. Please note therefore that some travel and overnight stays will be required between July-August. Time-in lieu will be fairly agreed during and around this period with the Operations Manager.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering the high-quality event management of the residential aspects of Frontline’s Readiness for Direct Practice stage
- Ensure participants receive a streamlined, positive experience prior to/during the Readiness for Direct Practice stage (i.e., timely communication of core elements, clear instructions and guidance regarding operations and venues, and participant copy for website etc.)
- Alongside the Operations Manager, to provide Frontline’s Curriculum and Delivery teams with high-quality project management support for high-risk operational and logistical aspects of the Frontline programme and CSW Learning and Development Training programmes.
- Supporting operational logistics of teaching days for both Frontline and CSW programme

If you feel you have the skills to make a real impact and contribute to creating lasting social change for children and families, we would love to hear from you.
