Providing packaging solutions to fulfilment and distribution centres up and down the UK, they are committed to delivering an agile and responsive service to their customers.
This success means they are now seeking a skilled Manager to lead the Warehouse & Logistics operation, helping it progress and evolve to keep pace with the company's growth.
Leading a small team, you will come to shape and develop the people, process and systems on site, with a focus on introducing a Continuous Improvement mindset to the operation.
Location: Newmarket
Salary: upto £60k depending on skills and experience

This role covers 2 sites intially, as they have a warehouse as an extension of their original operation (both fairly manual operations and both in Saffron Walden area) but you will lead the move of the business to a new site in Newmarket. The business has some huge projects in the pipeline, and as a member of the senior team you'll make a key contribution to all of these.
A solid background in leading warehousing and logistics operations is critical for this role, ideally with experience managing both in-house and third-party transport (3PL). Having lead other areas of the operation like supply chain and purchasing would also be desirable, but less essential.
You should have knowledge of Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement techniques and have implemented tools such as 5S into a warehouse environment. You'll also be able to show evidence of empowering team members in their roles to become assets for an organisation.
Experience in the packaging industry would be a huge bonus but is not essential; change management skills are key here, as new systems and processes are introduced.
