Role: Operations Manager – Production
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Office Based – West Yorkshire
A leading structural steel company is looking for someone to manage the production facility and look at strategic planning for growth. High level directorship prospects can be achieved to the successful applicant
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to produce steelwork at our Head office facility.
- High level planning for work capacity.
- Managing sub-contract fabrication, build relations with supply chain.
- Managing sub-contract painting.
- Responsible for buying materials to market rates and agreeing accounts with suppliers.
- Direct management of the production team.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the production department.
- Responsible to the Managing Director.
Skills:
- Great organisational skills.
- Good communicator.
- An analytical approach.
- Confident IT abilities.
- Strong planning knowledge.
- 20 years’ experience in the steelwork industry.
- Ambitious.
- Commercially aware.
