We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this position is 9am to 5pm (Mon-Fri)

Glasgow City HSCP is growing its capacity to deliver on the transfer of some care and treatments away from general practice to more appropriate services. This Includes the Vaccination Programme which is coordinated at a NHSGGC board level with the HSCP overseeing implementation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our primary care team. We require an operational manager to lead the development of a both children and adult core team and support the delivery of a range of vaccinations, immunisations and injections as the programme develops. You will be responsible for operating teams including the planning, development and monitoring of services as well as service finance management, recruitment, performance monitoring and service delivery. You will also providing reports to key stakeholders, including Health and Social Care Partnership leads.

You will have excellent organisational, planning and communication skills to enable you to effectively liaise closely with multidisciplinary teams and be able to work with wide variety of stakeholders. Strong leadership and managerial attributes will ensure you are able to support your teams, the HSCPs and Board leads to work in very responsive and flexible way to deliver services in what will be a period of ongoing change for primary care.
