Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Trust are looking for a well organised, highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources Department.
You will provide a professional administration service to the HR Team and have previous experience in an admin/secretarial role with well developed and accurate IT skills, good time management and organisational skills. In addition to having the skills and expertise required for the core requirements of the role, we’re looking for someone who shares our person centred approach, works effectively within a busy team and has excellent communication skills.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to gain an insight into the service provided by Human Resources within the NHS. You’ll be supported by a friendly and knowledgeable team and there will be opportunities to learn more about the role we play in providing high quality care across Cheshire, Wirral and beyond.
Applicants must be available to work full time 37.5 hours per week.
The post is fixed term until 31/12/2023 and secondments would be considered.
Main duties of the job
To provide a quality, comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the team. This job will include being first point of call for the department and general office duties as covered below.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.
New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
