Guildford Manor is actively recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Operations Manager, with live-in private accommodation on offer.
Guildford Manor is a 4 star spa hotel and popular wedding venue, with 51 bedrooms and restaurant onsite.
The Role
The role will involve overseeing:
- Our reception team, ensuring guests are checked in efficiently and processing an end of day audit to ensure all payments are taken correctly. The candidate will also personally deal with any customer complaints, by amicable resolving & rectifying the situation to ensure the guest leaves the venue happy.
- Our reservations team, tracking and monitoring our direct and third party sales.
- Our F&B team, ensuring all guests enjoy a high standard of service and our team adhere to operating processes and maintain standards. The candidate will also complete an end of day audit to monitor restaurant revenues.
- Our Events, including weddings, parties, corporate events etc.
The successful candidate will be willing to commit weekends and weekday evenings. 1-2 days off per week. 48 hour contract.
Required Experience
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- 2 years minimum as a Front of House Duty Manager / Supervisor
- 2 years minimum managing an F&B team
- 2 years minimum managing a reception / reservations team
- 2 years minimum as a hotel Operations Manager (preferred but not essential)

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
