Overall Purpose of the Role
To run the operational processes for CPGP Global Marketing Creative, supporting the workflow and resources for planning, creative production, and execution of consumer-facing marketing campaigns.
Establish and maintain new project management processes to ensure creative briefing and campaign planning timelines and budgets are in sync with marketing strategy and media planning, creative assets are effectively distributed and that campaign execution is sufficiently resourced and scheduled.
As well as supporting campaign operations, head up production operations and be responsible for allocating briefs, managing and sourcing production freelancers, ensuring all briefs and campaigns are fully resourced, accurately budgeted, scheduled, and that appropriate legal production processes are implemented and maintained to ensure campaigns can deliver successfully and on time.
Areas of Responsibility
- Work closely with the CPGP global campaign management team to budget and schedule creative development and production for marketing campaigns, ensuring approval periods are factored in and communicated to the client
- Work alongside campaign managers to ensure all workstreams for campaigns are scheduled and tracking on budget including media planning, PR and comms, social engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR)
- Work closely with the Senior Creative Content Manager to ensure the contingent workers are effectively assigned to campaigns and matching skillsets as well as ensuring fair time is allocated to complete task and produce work to the standard expected
- Create and oversee planning of the end to end production and operational workflows at the regional and local level
- Work alongside the Senior Creative Content Manager to leverage available resources efficiently, scaling up when required, and for maximum impact to ensure successful delivery of all projects and initiatives. This includes an experienced and collaborative perspective on project assignment/delegation within the internal team as well as alignment on external production partners and third party vendors
- Effectively manage the overall production budget as defined by the Director, Marketing Creative and Campaign Management by allocating project budgets to Senior Creative Content Manager as appropriate
- Oversee financial tracking of all production budgets and quarterly reports for finance, with detailed justification for all spend incurred, and realistic projections for all planned spend. Ensure POs are raised and processes appropriately, vendors are paid and the full creative departmental budget is balanced at financial year end
- Recieve and allocate briefs, lead production planning and budget management and devise schedules for productions as required
- Ensure that the team receives up to date training for the department’s project management system
- Work with the contingent workforce team to negotiate recruitment of all freelance staff through strategic sourcing
- Support with the setup of new starters, introducing them to the business and integrate them into the team
- Negotiate competitive rates with third party service providers, whilst following standard internal processes and adhering to SOBC (Standards Of Business Conduct)
- Supervise and/or manage third party talent/cast hiring processes and on-going relations when required
- Manage and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and key business partners across all relevant lines of business
- Oversee photoshoots on location (including international) or in studio environments, working to health and safety regulations, and following latest guidelines at UK/european level
- Ensure all copyright, contracts and license agreements meet requirements. Liaise with the legal team to ensure all contracts and legal paperwork is issued in a timely manner securing the correct rights in the interests of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC)
- Operate within Company guidelines when sourcing freelancers and talent to establish accurate representation and inclusivity, ensuring that there is a fair and diverse representation on camera as well as behind the scenes
- Operate within legal and brand parameters. Ensure appropriate training is provided to team including pertinent legal and brand training and ensure the team (as relevant) is operating within legal parameters
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
- Significant production team sourcing and management experience in a time sensitive similar environment, essential
- Live action shoot experience, ideally in advertising, essential
- Extensive production management and budgeting experience, ideally in commercial production, either agency side or in house within an agency-style department
- Ample and varied experience with producing campaigns across multiple platforms e.g. TV, social, retail, cinema, AR, VR, experiential
- Working knowledge of digital media and pan-Euro and global campaign delivery
- A strong, active network of contacts within the production industry
- Previous experience working with comprehensive legal documents and insurance requirements

- Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of local markets across EMEA, APAC and the Americas
