Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + benefits
Our brand new state of the art hospital in Northampton has been open since October 2022 and it is set up with everything our colleagues will need including; three theatres, a dental suite, an X-ray room, an ultrasound room, a treatment/Laboratory room, a large colleague area (with coffee machine and air fryer), a quiet room, four wards with CASCO heated kennels, a dog wash facility, 10 consulting rooms, bedrooms for OOH colleagues and an outside quiet grass area to sit and enjoy your breaks. We also have a dedicated pharmacy and front of house team.
We are striving to be as green as possible and so we use Humphrey ADE circuits throughout, we have our own Oxygen generator, we use low flow taps and will be getting an electric car charging point. We embrace technology and we have some paper free systems for in patients, operations list and client communication.
About the role
We are seeking an Operations Manager to manage and lead the day to day and medium-term operations of the Northampton hospital, ensuring continuity of; service delivery, people, budgets, and implementation of the business strategy.
This role will be based full time within the Northampton hospital.
You will be responsible for the overall operation of the hospital which has a c£4.5 M turnover and will also have key stakeholder responsibilities both internally and externally to the business.
As Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for;
- Leading, managing and developing the hospital management team
- Implementing, developing and driving the operational delivery of the five-year business strategy
- Resourcing of the hospital to deliver the required service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, health and safety requirements within the hospital
- Providing 24 hours on call cover for the practice
- Supporting the client service and clinical team to maximise service, capacity and profitability
- Developing and implementing policies and processes to ensure operational efficiency and service continuity
- Full P&L accountability, supporting delivery of all budgets
- Management of all procurement and equipment for the hospital
- Designing and implementing the sustainability strategy to support achievement of Green ‘Investors in Environment’ status
About you
We are looking for someone who has General Manager / Multi-Site experience, with a similar turnover, and you will have the necessary experience of People, Operations, P&L, H&S and Strategy.
You will have;
