Accommodation, Conference and Events have an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to join the Events Operations Team as Events Operations Assistant Manager.
Working as part of the Events Operations team you would be responsible for all areas of event operations services. These would include weddings, conferences, bars, social and core University events. Working alongside the Senior Event Operations Manager, Event Operations Manager and Event Operations Head Chef to ensure the service standards at the University is of the highest quality.
Good people management, administrative and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to engage positively with guests and motivate the team to deliver excellence in food quality, presentation, and service.
Experience from a variety of different catering operations and volume are essential. This post involves a ‘hands on’ approach to work within and coach teams and individuals to provide the highest quality service. Knowledge of HACCP and practical application of Health and Safety in the workplace are essential, as are relevant professional catering qualifications, including presentation and attention to detail, and commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
