TMS Protection Ltd are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will implement our Business Strategy, the development of our Operations Team and ensure we are delivering a business culture that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
You will work closely with the Managing Director to deliver the company vision of being the number one Security Company in the South East. The Operations Manager will have responsibility for ensuring our business operation is delivered effectively and efficiently, as well as managing our team of over 200 people across our Security and Cleaning sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire Operations team across our Kent and London offices and ensuring our Brand Promise is continually delivered, ensuring our standards and ethics are implemented, managing clients and management of their Operations team. Therefore, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who is confident and experienced in an Operational environment, who is happy to proactively lead and implement a hands-on approach in a fast paced and ambitious business.
Key responsibilities will be:
· Provide direction, guidance, and leadership to operational staff
· Responsible for the overall delivery and management of operations
· Manage customer engagement. Proactively maintain regular engagement with customers in line with customer expectations
· Support the recruitment and development of a team of A players
· Identify and implement further opportunities for business growth, services, and process improvements.
· Ensure consistent achievement of operational staff.
· Support the development of company customer strategy
The Experience, Skills & Behaviours we need from our Operations Manager
· Strategic thinking and visionary in developing a network of talented people
· Enthusiasm and ability to motive a large team of operational staff
· Performance management, coaching and development skills
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Operations Manager role or similar
· Previous business development and strategic planning skills within a similar industry
· Previous experience managing client engagement and client expectation.
· Support the development and implementation of a rigorous appraisal process.
· Key Holding experience is desirable
· Demonstrable administration, organisation and planning skills
· Comprehensive Microsoft knowledge - Word/Excel/PowerPoint
