Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

TRC have recently partnered with a well-known worldwide logistics company with many locations in the North of England. They have a great reputation for offering dependable and efficient transport solutions, with a strong focus on Irish and European road freight. They are looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Manager to help them expand their ocean freight services as part of their expansion strategy.
General responsilbilities:
As the Ocean Freight Manager, you will be in charge of monitoring and increasing our client's ocean freight operations in Bradford.
Requirements:
- Experience managing ocean freight, ideally in a global logistics or freight forwarding organisation.
- Thorough understanding of ocean freight operations, covering documentation, booking, routing, customs rules, and industry practises.
- Strong business development skills and a track record of successfully increasing maritime freight services and securing new clients are required.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, as well as the ability to motivate and grow a high-performing team.
- Analytical mindset capable of analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.
- Ability to create and maintain connections with customers, carriers, and international partners.
- Willingness to travel to clients, partners, and industry events on occasion.
