Job description

The Police Treatment Centres Charity offers residential intensive physiotherapy and mental health/wellbeing treatment to serving & retired police officers. There are two centres, Harrogate and Auchterarder, which provide first class accommodation and up to date state of the art facilities to patients.

The Operations Manager role is based in Harrogate and reports directly to the Chief Executive.

We are looking for an inspirational leader and motivator for this key role, responsible for the Health & Safety and day-to-day operation of the Harrogate centre, which includes managing multiple departments ensuring our patients’ safety and comfort during their stay.

To succeed in this customer facing operational role, the successful candidate will demonstrate experience of:

· Strategic planning

· Developing an Estates Strategy and management of a large capital estate.

· Relationship development with key internal and external stakeholders

· Project management

· Managing people

· Managing departmental budgets

Occasional travel to Auchterarder will be required (transport and accommodation provided).

Preferably NEBOSH and IWFM qualified. However, candidates that can demonstrate substantial experience in a similar senior role, and the confidence to build strong relationships, and flexibility are welcome to apply.
