Job description
The Operations Manager role is to oversee multiple test groups on project coordination, resource allocation and personnel management. As part of a fast-growing, detail-oriented team, the ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high-level overview of all test assets within their assigned region, while supporting overall program goals and balancing requests from other collaborators. This full-time role may require traveling (up to 20%) to various domestic and international destinations as necessary to support business objectives.
What You’ll Do- Effectively manage and direct resources to fulfil dynamic and time-critical testing requirements and requests
- Ensure that all personnels are properly equipped to execute tests, working with cross functional teams as needed to maximize throughput
- Monitor and ensure high fidelity data, provide guidance, and triage issues as needed
- Maintain open and constant communication with all program stakeholders
- Set individual and team targets for Supervisors and Leads and actively train, coach, and develop them
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and follow up of operational tasks and projects including, but not limited to special data collection, new market testing, and fleet operations
- Monitor project and program deliverables, create reporting metrics, and actively review information with directs reports and other managers
Employee Engagement
o Recruit, train, and develop management team and employees ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner
o Continually evaluate the performance of each employee and provide constant feedback to drive results
o Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
o Resolve all people and safety issues in a timely and effective manner, collaborating with Human Resources and appropriate teams effectively
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience in related fields, particularly vehicle/computer engineering, business administration, or similar
- Familiarity with and a working understanding of ADAS technology, including sensors, onboard hardware/firmware
- Strong computer and troubleshooting skills, including MacOS, Linux, and Windows OS
- Familiarity/experience with Jira (Xray), Confluence, and the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to proprietary software and hardware
- Unwavering commitment to safety and security, maintaining a high standard for all the work performed within operation domain
- Excellent communication skills, plus excellent written and spoken English proficiency
