Tesco Family Dinning Ltd operate a hospitality business within large Tesco Stores, providing our guests with a quick bite to eat or simply a great cup of coffee or tea.

This role will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to make change for the better and, most importantly, puts our customers first.

You will be responsible forWhilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:
- Engaging with retail leadership teams to achieve the TFDL business ambition
- Role modelling the delivery of brilliant customer service
- Delivering a structured improvement programme within underperforming Cafes, through coaching the Cafe General Managers along with
- Developing capability across the Cafe General Manager population
- Delivering the cafe trade plans through consistent execution across all cafes
- Collaborating with store & office teams to deliver the Operational plans
- Providing meaningful feedback through to the office, to improve the customer proposition
- Collaborating with Tesco store leadership team to optimise commercial opportunities
- Managing my time efficiently ensuring I get the best out of myself and my team
- Driving my own personal development and the development of my team
- Following our regulatory requirements and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
You’ll need to have demonstrated experience of:
- Being a great communicator at all levels, tailoring the interaction for the audience
- Being a strong and inspiring people manager, providing clarity on the direction forwards
- Influencing and key stakeholder management
- Being positive at all times, living the leadership skills and creating an environment of continual improvement
- Being a great coach and developer of businesses and people
- Visual Merchandising, presentation skills and commercial accumen
- Demonstrating strong resilience and able to embed an environment of continual improvement
- A basic level of IT skills (spreadsheets, etc)
Personal
- Flexibility, ability to plan and organise, responsiveness, creativity, self-starter
- Self-driven and motivated to make a difference every day
- Able to build solid working relationships at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Mobile and able to cover a large geographical area, which will involve time away from home on a regular basis
- To be 18 years of age or older.
