Job Title: Operations Manager
Tacos Padre Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the business. You will with founder Nicholas Fitzgerald assist in the business development of Padre and the implementation of the strategy. You will also be directly responsible for front of house and back of house teams, leading them by example to deliver the highest levels of service and an exceptional guest experience; and you will work closely with the BOH team to ensure that the quality of the food and drinks offering is consistently delivered, as well as the Director to proactively drive the business forward. That service is as efficient and timely while still being able to deliver a great customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Taqueria in Borough Market
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Taqueria in Borough Market along with the production kitchen. Managing the logistics between the two sites. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement as well as business development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations
- Responsible for stock management and stocks takes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing coaching and guidance as needed
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of modern apps and tech involved in fast casual business
