Job description
We are looking to appoint a Farm Worker to work on a Pig Unit. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and work on their own at times. Duties will include mucking out, feeding, moving pigs around the farm, helping with Farrowings and Steam Cleaning of farm buildings and other jobs associated with working on a busy working farm.
Please be aware that the position is physically demanding and requires someone who has a good level fitness. Some weekend work will be required from time to time and this will be paid as Overtime. Good Timekeeping is essential as is a willingness to learn and take instructions.
Experience if preferable but training can be given to the right candidate. Wage is dependent on Age and Experience. References will be required.
