VOLUNTEER ROLE at SUNSHINE

SUNSHINE is a new start-up grassroots community based charity in London that aims to nurture connections and transform lives, while making a positive impact in the local community. We will be offering a range of community based activities, projects and events that bring people together and spread joy and community spirit. We believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, respected, and empowered.

As the Operations Manager, you will be the second in charge at SUNSHINE and a keypoint of contact for the charity, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the strategic goals and objectives are met. You will also manage the staff and volunteers, coordinate the fundraising and marketing activities, and liaise with external partners and stakeholders. You will report to the Founder and CEO and provide regular updates on the progress and performance of the charity.

To be the Operations Manager, you need to have:

  • A proven track record of managing projects, and staff in a charity or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude to changing circumstances.
  • A commitment to the mission and values of SUNSHINE.
