About the Role
Base Location: Lowestoft - Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm (Ideally - applicants will live within a commutable distance of Lowestoft)
Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 dependent upon experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
Reporting directly to the General Manager the Wind Farm Site Manager is directly accountable for all SHE aspects on site, regulatory compliance, site performance, delivery of KPIs including joint venture obligations and leading the site team.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and leading a culture where everyone goes home safe every day.
- Responsible for leading successful daily operations at site to achieve the business objectives, including a team of approximately fifty people from SSE Renewables and third parties.
- An active participant in the planning and budgeting to support the long-term integrity of the wind farm.
- Line management for the local SSE Renewables team.
- Active participant in the local community and industry as SSE Renewables play an active role in the Just Transition and journey to Net Zero.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- An intimate knowledge and clear experience of leading a safety culture.
- Experience in a high-intensity operations leadership role.
- A demonstrable commitment to people and culture.
- A technical background – an engineering degree is preferred but not essential.
- An understanding and knowledge of working in high-value contracts.
