As our new Operations Manager you will work in close partnership with our Headteacher, taking responsibility for the strategic leadership and management of the Human Resources, Estates, Health and Safety, IT, Compliance and Administration functions of the school. You will be the school’s most senior member of support staff and will advise on and implement the support services that enable the school to operate effectively and efficiently.

This is a varied role, best suited to an individual with great organisational skills, high standards, excellent communication skills and most importantly, some-one who puts the child at the centre of everything they do. Experience of school business management will be an asset but is not an essential requirement.

  • Has a strong desire to work in education and to further opportunities for all pupils.
  • Has experience of leading, managing and motivating staff.
  • Is a strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Is able to work on their own initiative and organise/prioritise their own workload and that of their team.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to their own ongoing professional development.
  • Has an excellent understanding of, and at least 5 years’ practical experience of Business Administration gained preferably, but not essentially, in a school setting.
