Operations Manager Catering - Bristol Area

Rob, our Area Director afor the South West Region, has an amazing opportunity for an Operations Manager to join his team leading the most iconic brands in the UK today.
We are offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000 for the right candidate. As with any Customer facing role you will need to be fully flexible with your working patterns which will include weekends and bank holidays
So what does a Operations Manager role involve?
You will be leading a team to achieve success so it's vital you have a passion for developing and coaching at all levels. Engagement is key as you will be communicating with variety of people on a daily basis as this is a Customer facing role.
Energy is paramount as you will be supporting the Unit Managers in managing their teams to deliver the highest brand standards and customer service so we are looking for operational excellence in all you do.
Calm under pressure? Perfect as 2 days are never the same and there will be times when your team will really need your support and calming influence.
It goes without saying you will provide support to our Site Director and guidance to your management teams to enable them to achieve and maximise the sites results.

Our ideal candidate must have the following
- Proven experience of delivering operational excellence and managing teams in either multi-unit or multi-site customer facing businesses (preferably catering, hospitality or retail).
- Experience of and accountability for delivering business P&L financial targets.
- Team orientated - an advocate of leading your team from the front, creating drive and ambition within your teams to maximise development and opportunities of both the business and individuals.
- Strong communication skills with people at all levels of the business.
- Ability to work on own initiative, setting standards for others and measuring performance
Responsibilities:
- Operational Delivery; Support the Site Director in achieving operational targets across the whole site, ensuring a consistent delivery of products, service and brand standards are being delivered.
- Profit Delivery; Support the Site Director in achieving/exceeding the Site budgeted (or forecasted) Profit target, whilst supporting the management teams in achieving their individual unit performance.
- Customer Focus; Improve existing levels of service and create standards that deliver a quality customer experience every time, whilst monitoring service standards and providing feedback to the Site Director and teams as and when required.
- People Management; Responsible for the management of all unit managers within the brands that the site operates which includes; McDonald’s, Costa Coffee, WHSmith, Days Inn and Fresh Food Café and many more
