ROI has built an enviable reputation of providing sales support services to the automotive industry and we are growing. To enable us to realise our ambitions we now have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Nantwich-based Operations team.
What will you do?
The new Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting our clients’ business objectives through inspiring, leading, motivating and developing multiple teams in line with the company values and will take ownership for all aspects of daily operational and people management for their projects.
This is a key role for the business, you will be the operations point of contact for your projects, managing resource requirements, attending client reviews as needed to discuss SLAs and project performance and dealing with any escalations or challenges as they occur. You will work with colleagues from IT, New Business and Client Services teams to scope and implement project requirements and will manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure that expectations are managed and met. Additionally you will coach, mentor and lead a group of Team Managers, supporting them not only in their own development but also that of their team members, fostering a continuous improvement mindset and high performance culture which encourages all colleagues to take ownership for delivering effective first time resolutions, maintaining the highest level of quality and compliance in their interactions with customers and achieving against targets.
What are we looking for?
- You'll be an experienced people leader with the ability to inspire and bring out the best in your people, creating high performing teams through collaboration and encouragement. This role will involve managing first line managers so previous experience of this level of leadership would be preferred.
- A passion for delivering the best client service with experience in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- A strong communicator, confident in sharing your views and opinions with large groups of people as well as producing compelling written proposals and presentations
- Technically capable, ideally with experience in CRM systems and a working knowledge of Excel.
- A positive attitude with the tenacity and resilience to solve complex challenges and foresee issues and opportunities before they arise.
- Experience of working in a sales operations role within the automotive industry would be an advantage, although not essential
