The Supervisor, Product Operations supports the Product Operations team’s goal of ensuring all systems, products and processes evolve with the business and that all team members understand how to use onsite/in-store display products. The SPO supports the Director of Product Operations by ensuring all product materials are updated and that all team members have access to the business’s tools and technology. The SPO has deep knowledge of Google Ad Manager and the Ads business and understands the implications of product changes. The SPO also supports the Director of Product Operations with client ad-hoc needs pertaining to product exploration and/or system capabilities/opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert on the trafficking, setup, use cases and general functionality for all onsite/in-store display products and understands their place across the business’s end to end processes
- Act as the internal team’s primary resource for ad hoc product and system questions, including Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Advendio and JIRA
- Own product credentials by setting up logins for new team members, maintaining role functionality across the organization and providing step by step instructions on platform use
- Maintain a comprehensive internal product library and ensures all legacy product training materials are properly organized and up to date
- Support the Director of Product Operations on the construction/strategy of product rollout decks, and serves as an active participant in product teach outs
- Collaborate with Media Operations team on the management of and strategy pertaining to remnant inventory within Google Ad Manager
- Communicate relevant system release notes and their impact to internal teams
- Assist team members on the creation of reports and dashboards across all systems as needed
- Help team members troubleshoot issues across systems, escalating bugs to DPO
- Monitor system use and identifies process roadblocks and opportunities based on campaign volume and team member feedback
- Knowledge of retail media networks; hands on experience within an RMN preferred
- Demonstrated success translating complex technical concepts into layman’s terms and tailoring approaches to both technical and non-technical teams
- Foundational knowledge of HTML and JavaScript as well as the ability to identify and describe technical issues
- Basic understanding of web design principles, ad operations and trafficking
- Exceptional communication skills and is comfortable leading and supporting in person and virtual presentations to cross functional teams
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working within Google Ad Manager with an emphasis on trafficking and campaign management
- 5-7 years of overall media or digital marketing experience; minimum of 3 years online media
