This Platform Operations Administrator job provides an exciting opportunity to join a growing Financial Planning business in Darlington.
This is a very varied role, where you will work closely with your team within Platform Operations and in the wider business to ensure the platforms operate smoothly. You will be supporting the team with the following responsibilities:
- Provide service support to Financial Advisors regarding illustrating and transacting business on to the platforms
- Flag any exceptions to Financial Advisors
- Provide support to the wider business on a project basis
- Monitor and maintain onboarding checks for clients
- Ensure trading and cash transaction requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Maintain procedures and other related documents for the platform
- Completing general administration tasks, such as sending general letters, data entry, updating systems, scanning etc
- Receiving incoming calls from and making outgoing calls to internal staff, third-party providers and client
Platform Operations Administrator Requirements
- You must have experience in customer service and be comfortable speaking with people over the telephone
- You must be strong at problem solving and be able to raise issues to seniors when spotted
- You must be numerate
- Ideally, you will have some experience in Financial Services or have an understanding of investments and pensions
- You must be diligent and must remain diligent when doing tedious or repetitive duties
