Operations Manager
Up to £37,000 per annum + bonus
Hybrid Role!
Oxford Spires International, part of the Oxford Virtual Education Group provides exciting education and learning experiences for international students aged 8-17 years.
We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join the team on a full-time basis with a January 2024 start. This is a hybrid role - mostly working from home but there will be days when youre required to be in our Kidlington, Oxfordshire branch.
You'll be leading on the operational delivery of our programmes, overseeing the planning and organisation of the ‘Spires’ programmes for young learners.
Key Duties
- Setting budgets and target numbers
- Maintain good rapport and open communication with stakeholders including overseas partners, homestay providers, venue and service relationships and Spires people
- Oversee all programme logistics, including contracts, transport and bookings
- Assisting HR with the development and management of recruitment initiatives
- Oversee new starter inductions
- Supporting on product marketing
- Attending education workshops and overseas travel as required
Essential requirements
- Experience and a good understanding of the language travel Industry preferably in a summer camp and young learner environment
- Computer literate with experience using Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience and ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as having high levels of initiative
