Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join an expanding, successful Gas and Electric company in Stoke on Trent. They have a varied portfolio of projects, including domestic, commercial and renewable energy.
The requirements of the Operations Manager will be to oversee and manage one of the internal departments within the business, responsible for leading a team and ensuring that projects are completed to the required standards, time and cost. You will also liaise with clients and site staff to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and agreements are fully delivered.
The successful applicant will need to have experience in leading teams to successfully deliver on larger scale projects as well as having a proven history in successful client liaison. Although gas qualifications are preferable, they are not a necessity, however Project Management and Logistical Management are a must.
You will report directly to the board of directors and will need to actively provide operational reports and KPI information.

- Good communication skills with an organised and methodical approach to completion of projects
- Commercial awareness with a good grasp of operating under different contract conditions
- Qualifications or experience within relevant industry (gas renewables electricals)
- Skills to develop and motivate others
- Confidence to liaise with client and designers at design and contract meetings
