The responsibility of the Operations Manager is to recruit, train and deploy all the various roles needed across the Nest’s facilities to deliver the best experience of all of our site users
Objectives
1. Deploy the staff to the daily Nest duties
2. Lead training and developing The Nest facilities workforce
3. Actively recruit staff for The Nest’s facilities
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure every work shift at The Nest’s facilities is staffed with an appropriately trained staff member.
- Work with the Foundations workforce team to actively recruit staff for the Nest’s facilities operations.
- Collaboratively work with the bookings team to understand the staffing requirements to for fill bookers needs and requests of the facilities.
- Proactively engage the Nest staff ensuring high level of communications with them and informing them of changes to duties in a timely fashion.
- Provide a level of quality assurance when assessing and supporting the Nest staff carrying out their duties.
- Produce reports to the finance team ensuring that staff spend is in line with set budgets and government requirements.
- Assess feedback from customers around staff delivery and look at new ways to develop the experience they receive.
- Continuously train and develop staff within the Nest to support their growth with the organisation.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Line manage the full time and contracted Duty Managers and cleaning staff that work for The Nest’s facilities.
- To understand and implement the Nest’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role and use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.

Salary: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
