About the Role
The Intermediate Graphic Designer role is a collaborative role working with clients, Creative Directors, Art Directors and other Designers on various types projects. The Intermediate Graphic Designer should take ownership of assigned project and demonstrate leadership in working with other team members. The PDD is accountable for delivering and communicating high-quality design solutions to clients through independent design work and leveraging team efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept & Design Development, create graphics and layouts for branding, marketing, digital, web, advertising, etc. that meet the clients' objectives
- Create and present concepts for brands & creatives
- Balancing creative thinking with time management and excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to multi task/create and communicate ideas with acute attention to detail.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production and construct prototype of design
- Proofread and edit all contents of designed materials to ensure accuracy.
- Identify design errors and make necessary adjustments and fixes prior to delivering final assets
- Create production-ready graphic design materials for web, print, advertising display that meet our clients’ marketing objectives.
- Source creative options, ideas and graphic elements for potential design.
- Obtain and maintain image database from various sources including image banks and print production library, etc.
- Teamwork
- Collaborate with other staff in our company, such as illustrator, photographer web developer and printing worker.
- Giving direction and supervise junior designer's artwork.
- Take initiative to work with others and seek for resources needed for designated projects
- Consult with clients to understand client’s needs and preference
- Present and sell design product to the client to get buy-in
- Communicate and articulate project-related information with clients
Qualification
- Bachelor Degree, Design specialized degree is preferred but not required
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Design focused role or demonstrated experience applying design skills within a professional environment
- High level of proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluent in English
- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively, proven attention to detail, excellent time management skills
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Self-starter who demonstrates innovative approaches to problem-solving
- Result driven
- Strong team collaborator with the ability to motivate and inspire positive team dynamic
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,842.00-$45,266.00 per year
