We are looking to appoint an individual who can demonstrate day to day leadership and operational management skills evidenced against a track record of successfully delivering key change projects and significant impact to service provision.
This role reports to the Primary Care Team Manager, Salaried Services (OOH/2C) and contribute to the strategic planning of the Out of Hours Services for NHS Tayside.
The postholder will be responsible for the day to day leadership, operational management and delivery of the Out of Hours Services within the identified localities of NHS Tayside.
Overall management of the following services across locality premises incorporates
the operational management across Tayside for Out of Hours including
Team Leaders
Adminstative Team
Drivers
Receptionists
Hub Controllers
H&S Management (training, monitoring, audit, KPI’s) and for the support to all managers for systems reporting, data analysis etc.
Applicants must possess a wide knowledge of general management skills and have a good understanding of the expectations regarding service delivery. The postholder will also have a strong commitment to performance management and be able to support/influence their staff accordingly.
