Job description
Purpose:
- Responsible for leading all operation performed in our UK branches, manage warehouse & customer service staff, promote a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- The objective is to safeguard and increase the efficiency of the company's UK operations to facilitate the long-term development and success of the company in the region.
Key Tasks:
- Lead and organise all operational aspects in our UK Branches, including distribution operations, customer service, administration.
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners such as import & export agents, fleet partners, and external transport providers.
- Bring out the best in operations and customer service staff by providing training, coaching, and motivation.
- Build a network to enhance the presence and reputation of the branches and the company.
- Ensure stock control in the warehouses, as well as the appropriate tracking of orders and management of the DOI.
- Evaluate the efficiency of business processes, as well as identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions that respond to challenges and take advantage of opportunities for growth.
- Meet goals and metrics, as well as to establish and reformulate indicators to give a higher performance.
- Ensure a safe working environment by supporting the development and implementation of health and safety programmes, advising employees and complying with health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Uphold high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and laws.
Requisitos
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience coordinating teams.
- Proven track record of improvements and results delivery.
- Previous experience in stone and building materials industry would be an asset.
- Availability for frequent commute Harlow/ Leeds
