Job description
We seek a dynamic, multi-tasking, FM Operations Officer, with a good eye for detail and excellent customer facing skills for this fast-paced SSA Facilities Management Team.
This service operates across both Richmond and Wandsworth councils. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a full document production, design and delivery service including all postal related duties , bulk despatch and secure point of entry scanning.
You will be responsible for liaising with both internal and external customers as part of reception duties. In addition to this, the successful applicant will provide support to the wider Facilities Management team as necessary including support for evening meetings.
They must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to work in a flexible and co-operative approach to changing business needs. You will be reporting to the FM Assistant Operations Manager, and you will be part of a supportive, energetic team, working together to address the challenges in this fast paced, varied and exciting environment.
You will need to demonstrate experience of working within a reactive environment, able to prioritise a hectic workload. A full clean driving licence would be required, and the position requires experience of and the ability to undertake manual handling with the lifting, carrying, moving of items.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Developing and maintaining effective and accurate records
- Create and maintain electronic financial records
- Reception cover
- Secure scanning &Postal despatch
- Using computer technology
- Provision of refreshments for meetings
- Room set up
- Access control updates
