TRAVEL ADVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
The overall role of a travel advisor is to book travel reservations for our valued customers. Creating bespoke itineraries, whilst keeping in line with our customer's Travel policies. This will involve searching for the most cost-effective travel solutions tailoring each booking to their requirements. Bookings will include Hotels, Self-catering, Car Hire, Ferries, Rail and Flights.
Most suitable for candidates who have good attention to detail, work well to a deadline, excellent customer service values with a drive for customer satisfaction.
Due to the nature of our customer base, the role can be very reactive with busy peaks on some days. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure.
There is an opportunity for progression with your learnt experience to develop your career into other positions within the business.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To act as the primary contact for customers by handling incoming requests via telephone, email and our bespoke online platform
- To complete reservations at the point of sale, accurately and efficiently.
- To provide excellent customer service and always exceed expectations
- To support other members of the team
- Provide solutions and advice to customers

SUMMARY
- Salary £20,900-£25,000 plus extras
- 9:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
- 45-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks

Hybrid working. 1 days of each month will be spent working in the office and the rest of the time working from home
On-call rota- you will be required to be on call once every 8 weeks on average, Monday-Sunday, you will receive additional pay for this
Full training will be provided in the office and from home
