As an Operations Manager, you’ll keep the hotel running like clockwork and lead your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll be working alongside the General Manager to oversee operations, ensure every stay is extra special and inspire a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations. We’re looking for someone with key people skills, who is great at getting the best out of their team by giving them that get-up-and-go!

As an Operations Manager, you will:

  • Be yourself!
  • Undertake Duty Manager shifts as required to support the team
  • Work alongside the General Manager to devise new ways of moving the Leonardo Hotels brand forward in your hotel
  • Support with the delivery of new starter induction and “Guest Care” training, ensuring all team members are offering great hospitality to our brand standards
  • Actively monitor recruitment requirements in your hotel to support the operation (and your current team!)
  • Have good knowledge of the local area to drive business opportunities for your hotel
  • Collaborate with your local HR team to host engaging activities for your team

A 15-minute walk from Southampton City Art Gallery, this upscale, modern hotel with a sloping glass facade is 0.8-mile walk from the Mayflower Theatre. Stylish rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Some add sea views. Upgraded rooms include sitting areas and balconies, while suites add kitchenettes and/or whirlpool tubs. There's a relaxed restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a glass-covered bistro/bar with a terrace. Other amenities include a gym, an indoor pool and spa facilities, plus parking (fee).
