Role Overview

People

  • Work with MD of Pensions and Director of Pegasus to develop our strategy for determining the make-up of the team, including the knowledge and skillset of individuals we recruit, their role and the location in which they are based
  • Support our recruitment programme, including strategy for attracting talent and initial screening interviews working with the central team as appropriate
  • Develop proposals for how we work together, support and run monthly team meetings and awaydays
  • Assist in line management process

Commercial Offerings

  • Work with GOLD group chair to manage actions, where priority is to identify and develop near term propositions to help clients
  • Ensure templates and precedents are available for sharing, tasking colleagues to lead on particular offerings

Business Development and Marketing

  • Support BD director in ensuring colleagues carry out agreed BD activity to include:
  • Referral partners
  • Direct target lists
  • LinkedIn posts
  • Speaking engagements
  • Event attendance and follow up

Trustee Oversight and Risk

Support Technical Committee Chair to:

  • Provide guidance on policy and positioning at an industry level (including responding to consultations)
  • Provide guidance to colleagues who need to discuss difficult client situations and decisions
  • Work with Senior Trustee Support Executive to maintain internal policies and procedures
  • Work with Senior Trustee Support Executive to support AAF audit process
  • Take the lead on risk management, reviewing risk reports, attending PRC meetings, liaising with the central Risk Committee and managing the risk register
  • Co-ordinate response to risks and weaknesses identified e.g. escalation of major risks, evolution of policies to address AAF audit findings etc

Client Delivery and Management

  • Work with account planning and client care programme lead to ensure all clients are offered a client care call each year and actions are followed up
  • Account planning is performed for appropriate clients and followed up
  • Work with central team to obtain client MI, analyse metrics, review budgets and fee agreements register
  • Regular review of client teams, client sharing and rotation arrangements
  • Work with BD director and broader team to obtain pricing for new business proposals

Technology

  • Work with Senior Trustee Support Executive to redesign and maintain CRM system
  • Work with Director of Pegasus to acquire and implement workflow system
  • Consider future technology requirements for Pegasus and implement changes as require
