Operations Manager – Marine Works

About the role
An amazing opportunity to join a well-established marine company, overseeing a team of 10 in Antibes, France on the warranty and fixing of various Yachts. The servicing works could include Upholstery, Carpentry, Engineering, and Paint works.
The ideal candidate would have knowledge in the Marine industry and proven experience as an Operations Manager, able to liaise with site and operational teams to ensure project completion in a timely manner.
Information on the role
- Schedule and organise all works & labour
- Ensure works are completed on time
- Sign off completed work
- Ensure all works are up to standards
- Help introduce a software work scheduling application, ordering all material and consumables for jobs
- Track and report at weekly client update meetings
- Planning of resources, including materials, labour, and sub-contractors
- Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation
- Manage and maintain all H&S requirements
What we’d like from you
- Operations Manager Experience
- Proven experience in the Marine industry
- Knowledge on Carpentry, Upholstery, and Paint works desirable
- Excellent knowledge of commissioning and installation support
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills
- Self-motivated personality
- Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
- Organisation and time management skills
- SMSTS Qualified
