Here at GXO, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent Senior HR Operations Manager to join us from our head office in Northampton. With a strong focus on compliance, process review, creation and control, supplier management and operational efficiency, you’ll get to the heart of issues and implement change at an enterprise level.

We’re looking to offer up to £90,000 per annum for this role plus a competitive car allowance and bonuses. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Ensure the structures and processes are in place to identify, report and mitigate areas of business risk across Payroll, People Services and HRIS- Review the impact of upcoming legislation requirements and risk assess against current GXO standards and provide proposals based on evidence to mitigate risks or close gaps
- Take the lead on all operational end to end change management requirements and drive for adoption of standard processes that serve to enhance colleague experience
- Be the go-to lead for all operational reporting requirements such as volumes, errors, people metrics, monthly and weekly, end of year reporting, data breaches, root cause reviews, changes etc
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A solid background in HR operations with a clear understanding of a shared service centre environment- Fantastic working knowledge of HR compliance and risk management in relation to pay, GDPR and HR policy
- The ability to carry out effective risk assessments, audits and report writing, using your analysis skills to make effective recommendations in respect to business and process improvements
- Experience of HR & Finance systems ie Coupa, SuccessFactors, ADP, SAP etc
- Strong project management skills with experience of supplier management across a range of HR disciplines
- Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder management
