We are looking for an Operations Manager at our ASOS site in Doncaster (DN3 3FB) to look after the operational requirements and processes of the intake and outbound stock movements, with a commitment to quality leadership of a team of people. You will be working Sunday- Thursday, on a rotational basis of am and pm shift (5:45-14:15 and 13:45-22:15).

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Take responsibility for ensuring KPIs and performance are achieved and exceeded, as set by the customer- Drive health and safety and a continuous improvement culture throughout the site and ensure that your team is working in a compliant and safe manner
- Manage daily work allocation, controlling headcounts, downtimes and performance management
- Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A proven track record of managing a large team in a fast, complex warehouse environment (ideally with exposure to e-commerce)- The ability to coach, lead and develop a large, diverse team, with a strong bias for action to ensure delivery of both client and GXO goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- General confidence in the use of IT and WMS, Red Prairie & MATFLO would be an advantage
