Job description
We at Go Green are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join the team and become a key member in the company growth.
As the company grows, we need an operations manager that is ready to hit the ground running and be at the centre of the operations in this exciting time.
The operations manager role will be to oversee the call centre and the team within.
Some of the Operations Manager responsibilities:
- Ensuring the call centre is fully staffed at all times on all shifts (24 hour service)
- Answering the phones, taking bookings, dealing with both passengers and drivers
- Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
- Forecast requirements; initiating corrective actions
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Manage staff levels and shifts to ensure a continuous service of satisfaction
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Communicate all operating policies and/or issues to team
- Driving a licensed vehicle to help complete bookings during peak hours
This role will need someone that is flexible in both their approach to the role but also the working hours. The call centre is 24 hours and the operations manager would need to be readily available at any time should the need arise. The operations manager would be the last line of defence.

The split in terms of work is roughly 70% call centre 30% driving and we find that because of the split in responsibilities the day just flys past! The call centre team is approx 10 at the moment and we are looking to add 3 additional people due to an uptick in work.
No Experience Necessary as full training will be provided!
We sponsor and pay for your taxi license and you should expect to only be in the vehicle for approximately 30% of your time depending on staffing levels in our call centre.
Hours:
Variable between days and nights, including weekends. On average 50+ hours a week.
Salary:
£40,000 per annum
