We have an exciting opportunity available for an Operations Manager to join our team working on a full time permanent basis, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. The Operations Manager Role:

As part of the location management team and reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager role is to deliver an exceptional holiday to our guests. Responsible for the overall appearance and maintenance of the location, the cabins and the hot tubs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for ensuring our Health and Safety process and procedures are carried out and properly recorded, and that all team members on location are properly trained as required.
  • Accountable for all processes and procedures regarding our hot tubs, carrying out regular audits and feedback of scores and comments regularly to your team.
  • Management of both the exterior and interior maintenance and décor of the cabins, ensuring everything is in excellent working order.
  • Management of bike fleet and bike hire centre.
  • Ensuring the Operations Team are supported and motivated, given regular performance reviews and adequate training in their role.
  • Management of guest feedback through “Plant Your Feedback” (our guest feedback platform) ensuring comments and scores are regularly shared with your team
  • Management of a Planned Maintenance Tracker to ensure all equipment is regularly serviced within budget.
  • Manage departmental budget and work with the rest of the management team to utilise revenue opportunities on location.
  • Duty Manager responsibility, including deputising for the General Manager in their absence when required.

Our ideal Operations Manager:

The successful candidate will be extremely organised, able to balance many challenges and tasks at once, provide motivation and guidance to the team while being aware of our guest needs. Prior experience managing teams and budgets is essential, facility management is advantageous. A positive and can-do attitude is essential and a willingness to roll your sleeves up and always lend a hand.

As a flexible, positive, and enthusiastic member of the management team you will be happy to get involved in other activities on location. Self-motivated and ready to lead the team, you will be key in delivering business results and will make a valued contribution as you help our dynamic and growing business become the UK’s most recommended holiday provider. With experience of managing a team and delivering first class results, you will be keen to ensure that our guests’ experience is consistent and extraordinary.

Promoting a collaborative culture, you will bring your experience of leading a team and through training produce the highest standards. Excellent time management skills together with an ability to use your initiative and problem-solve are essential. You will be someone who prides themselves on delivering on your commitment to ensure our cabins are pristine for our guests' arrival. A love for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.
