Job description
We're in need of someone with strong people management and organisational skills to lead a team, improve workflow and implement processes. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office.
ROLE SUMMARY
Work with other members of Management and the CEO, to advance the business in all ways necessary to reach our milestones and deepen and improve our culture and values. You need to consistently measure internal ROI to implement better procedures and management methods to allow the company to meet is business goals and ensure the ongoing flow and accuracy of data into Fancensus and onto its clients.
- You should look to generate better policies and documentation that are associated with work flow and processes.
- offer ongoing guidance and mentor to subordinates, as well as offering support to other staff that may not directly report to you.
- Lead Admin (Data gathering, normalisation and ingestion) department and oversee operations of Fancensus internal processes.
- Resource management
- Highlighting processing problems and offering solutions
- Guiding, directing and evaluating the work of admin deparmental staff
- Analysis of admin resource performance and communicate progress to leadership team
- Help build 2nd tier management structure
- Produce documentation and educate other departments on internal processes
- Methods for testing data integrity need to be developed, updated and maintained.
- Error checking and handling system failures need to be improved and failsafe implemented.
- Ensure our procedures are reliable and are stress tested at all times to cover all eventualities.
- Utmost priority is given to keep our data clean and accurate.
- Overall understanding of the flow of the operation and ensure responsibility is accepted by the admin member carrying out the task. On-going checking methods of their input needs to be undertaken.
- Develop roles & responsibilities for all members of your team.
- Updating internal knowledge base/repository. Develop flow charts of how the data processes through Fancensus.
- Tackling unforeseen issues and troubleshooting.
- Attending customer meetings if needed as a support.
KEY SKILLS:
- Experience of managing and developing a team (5+) people for at least three years
- Strong organisational skills
- Highly disciplined
- An excellent communicator - communicating effectively to all staff members, from junior administrators, to the CEO
- Can demonstrate multi-tasking abilities
- A quick learner and the ability to hit the ground running. Likes to delve into and understand semi-complex internal processes in a short space of time
- Has confidence to suggest ideas whilst listening to others
- Have knowledge of Ms Office including Powerpoint / Excel / Word
- Be able to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Possible experience of working and communicating with clients
- Have an interest in the video gaming industry / technology sectors
- Live within 90 minutes drive of Cookham to be able to work from office at least 2 days a week
- Photoshop understanding an advantage
Position is based in Cookham, full time. Hybrid working with 2-3 days in office and working from home on 2 days.
