Our popular steakhouse and first venture, Cocktails & Steaks, Uddingston was established in 2017. Followed by our Scottish Restaurant & Gin Emporium Mr MacGregor’s in Netherlee. Cutler Lobster & Steaks serves fresh seafood and shellfish along with the finest cuts of beef and is located in Giffnock. Our latest venture is a traditional Italian restaurant Luciano’s in Burnside offering traditional Italian dishes and authentic Italian style pizza and outstanding wine.

We are always searching for new opportunities to expand and grow our portfolio further with our 5th restaurant due to launch later this year.
As the Operations Manager, you will work closely with the directors and be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient functioning of our restaurant locations. Your primary focus will be on maximizing operational performance, ensuring consistent quality, and enhancing the overall guest experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Directors in growing the Meraki Restaurant Group
- Business development – Assisting Directors in identifying new ventures and feasibility of these
- Overseeing day to day operations at all restaurant venues
- Recruitment of senior roles within the business and appraisals of senior members of the management team
- Management of H&S and compliance for the group
- Rolling out new Processes and Procedure and any new software etc
- Identifying, feasibility and implementation of special projects/software etc
- Overseeing the management of stock, procurement in line with weekly budgets to ensure we are hitting target GPs
- Review and sign off weekly rotas using Rotaready ensuring venues are managing wage % efficiently
- Conduct management meetings with venue management teams
- Overseeing maintenance across the group and management of maintenance team
- Assist in the procurement of new commercial contracts
- Management of utilities contracts
- Assisting with role out of new design concepts and menus etc
- Conducting reviews and audits of existing standard operating procedures to improve and evolve customer service/experience and support team members
- Overseeing marketing, working closely with venue managers, marketing team and website designers etc
- Identifying new business development ideas with venue managers to Increase restaurant profitability
- Quarterly review of P&Ls with Directors
- Participate in weekly meetings with Directors to provide updates and discuss strategic priorities
